SUPPORT DATES WITH GOV’T MULE IN NEW ENGLAND May 17, 2013

We’re very excited to be joining Gov’t Mule for five shows in New England, starting in Portland, ME at the Merrill Auditorium on May 30th and ending in Red Bank, New Jersey at the Count Basie Theatre on June 4th. FESTIVAL SET TIMES ANNOUNCED – HANGOUT, STRAWBERRY, SANTA CRUZ BLUES, MOUNTAIN JAM, BONNAROO May 17, 2013

We’re all the way up to seven festival appearances scheduled for this summer, and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about the ones we have lined up. Here are the current set times and stages that have been announced thus far. We know festivals get hectic so we are trying to make it easy to find The Gramblers!

Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, CA is one of our favorite places on earth. We're very excited to announce that we'll be performing in their Big Room again this year for two nights on Monday, May 6th and Tuesday, May 7th. Our own Dave Mulligan will be opening with his band. We hope you can come get summer started early and have a Sierra with us in Chico!

We learned last year there’s nothing quite like a summer road trip through the Rocky Mountains. Thankfully we get to do it again this year! Starting on June 30th at Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena, CA we will be winding our way through the Pacific Northwest and Rockies for a short summer tour that includes a stop at the Jambase Live Festival in stunning George, Washington alongside Robert Plant, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, ALO and many more. We hope to see you out there!

This June we’ll be headed to New York for Mountain Jam and to Tennessee for Bonnaroo. We’ve added some headlining club shows in June along the route starting in Brooklyn, NY on June 6th at The Brooklyn Bowl and ending in Lake Tahoe opening for the Steve Miller Band at Harvey’s Outdoor Arena on Saturday, June 22nd. All headlining tour dates go on sale this Friday, April 5th.

Festival season keeps growing for the Gramblers! Added to the list are The Santa Cruz Blues Festival, Jambase Live and Horning's Hideout. The first takes place in Santa Cruz, CA over Memorial Day Weekend and we play on Sunday, May 26th alongside Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings and more. Next we’ll head up north for two Pacific NW festivals in stunning locations: the Jambase Live festival at the Gorge in George, WA on Friday, July 5th, as well as Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, OR on Saturday, August 3rd. Robert Plant & Sensational Space Shifters will headline the two day Jambase Live festival, and String Cheese Incident headlines and curates their festival at Horning’s Hideout.

SPRING TOUR CONTINUES April 2, 2013

We are currently in the middle of another journey across the United States, and will be on tour until Mid-April. We’ve already seen some cities for the first time and are excited to make our debuts in Detroit, Milwaukee, St. Paul, Omaha, and Alaska over the next two weeks. May was a wonderful month for The Gramblers, which we kicked off at the annual Hipnic in Big Sur. We then had the honor of playing some beautiful theaters and venues in California and the Pacific NW with The Bodeans. We would like to extend a big thank you to them and to all their fans for being so kind and accepting of us! June is gearing up to be another busy month. We even found time to drop a new ‘Van Session’ of Pat Benatar’s ‘Hit Me With Your Best Shot.’ With our first San Francisco Residency ever at the Rickshaw Stop starting next Tuesday, June 5th, we are excited to play some new songs and invite our extended musical family to the stage. We will be all over in California during June, including Deren and my hometown of Lafayette, so check out our schedule for a town near you! .

On top of those summer tour dates, the band will play July 4th in Atlanta, GA, which marks their first trip to the Southeast.  We are so excited to visit new cities and play our songs to new fans.

Fresh off the success of the latest “Van Sessions” cover of Hall and Oates “I Can’t Go For That” – with 1.1 million views on YouTube and growing – and a sold out show at LA’s famed Hotel Café, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers are set to hit the road and spend the rest of the year on a North American Tour.  The follow up “Van Sessions” video to ‘I Cant’t Go For That’ is Lionel Richie’s ‘Easy.’

On September 15, we are set to perform at Grand Point North Festival in Burlington, VT, presented by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Higher Ground. We are honored to play their festival in this storied part of our country, along with The Avett Brothers, Dr. Dog, Galactic and more!

AND we are kicking off 2013 in a huge way on Jam Cruise 11 along with such acts as Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, JJ Grey & Mofro, Funky Meters, Big Gigantic and Femi Kuti. There is definitely no other place like it and we cannot wait to be out at sea with YOU, January 7-12, 2013. Jam Cruise also hits Fort Lauderdale, FL, Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas. Tim and Nicki Bluhm have recorded an 8-song limited CD EP called Duets. The duo blends the honky tonk harmonies of California country with West Coast folk and acoustic Americana, interlaced with vocal nuances and an emotional intimacy that inspire pin-drop attention.  Duets features six original songs co-written by the Bluhms, plus two covers: “Running Wild” by Ray Edenton and Donny Winters; and “Reno, Nevada” by Richard Fariña.  The couple recorded the songs at their San Francisco studio, Mission Bells, with producer Dan Prothero (Tim’s solo album California Way, Galactic, JJ Grey & Mofro).
